I've stayed a few times before. It's a well presented, comfortable place with good staff & WiFi. There's also a new, much larger bar that faces the road. Charging ports by the bed help too.

I liked that they had many activities organised throughout the week. It set me up for friendships that I continued through my stay. The cleanliness was really good and I felt safe there, the beds were made each day and they even made the toilet paper nice and pointed each time too. I liked the bar attached to it and it had nice food. The staff were really friendly and although I didn’t use it, the kitchen looked good and there’s a spar next door where you can buy ingredients. There’s icy water on offer in the Randy warthog where I refilled my bottle which I thought was good. The water is fine to brush teeth with and use, people were drinking from the taps

Fantastic hostel - Great location, Green Point, 15mins walk to V&A - Very nice vibe, including & especially at the bar/restaurant attached Randy Warthog - Very comfortable rooms (and more spacious than i expected) - Very friendly & helpful staff - Has all the amenities you need - Hostel organises daily tours to all the key attractions

Such a beautiful and social spot in one of the best locations in all of Cape Town. The staff are fantastic, helping you with any needs. The in-house bar makes it super easy to meet people and catch sports games (if that’s your vibe). As a solo traveller, this hostel makes it very easyand accessible to meet new people and enjoy Cape Town in a safe and enjoyable way.

Highly recommended, everything is truly great. The absolute best backpacker to meet and socialize with other solo travelers in Cape Town. They regularly organize hikes, tours and activities as well as host a Whatsapp group. My room is cleaned and the bed is made up everyday so you'll always return to a very comfortable environment after your exhausting trips. It's also a 5 minute walk from the hostel to Woolworths for groceries and a Laundromat. There's also a great selection of restaurants nearby.

Location was great, very close to V&A and also promenade so I could easily walk to either. Along the same street there are several food options and also supermarkets so I think it is perfectly located especially for solo travellers who is cautious about safety walking around. I like that guest respects the 'quiet' period from 2200 onwards & free Netflix in the private rooms! Room had all the basic necessities to make a longer stay comfortable. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but wished there was more free social activities.

Location is great for tours, as most of them will start/end or pass by near the Waterfront area. Near to a mall and decent restaurants, if that's your thing. Very handy location to be able to walk to ferry port, for tours to Robben Island. Rooms are spacious. There's a bar for socialising. Literally right next to a supermarket, which is very handy. Nice secure area, didn't feel uneasy in this area.

The staff was extremely available to accomodate any request and super kind - they eventually became friends and will be so missed! The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis including having my bed made, which was so above standards for a hostel for me! And the bed was also super comfortable. The shared areas were big and spacious and provided all that could be necessary, from bar and restaurant to a co-working space with very good wifi. And this gave the opportunity to meet amazing people.

Location was awesome. The facilities that they have, like the bar and grill, kitchen, pool and chill areas. Staff were helpful, and always pleasant.

Greenpoint is a great location. The building is close to shops and restaurants. The Environment is healthy and of great spirit. Other traverls there are friendly. It is organized and kept clean. The rooms are nice and big, not crowded. Lovely views from bedroom.
